Overflow

There's this place I call my second home.
A place that is filled laughter and happiness
No judgement or fears in this place,
A place that Overflows like a fountain filled with love.
These friends that I will make in this place will ofrever be like family.
We are like a tree, growing together
Overflowing with knowledge that we gain through the years.
Before I knew these friends, I was as lost as a lamb without a shepherd.
But these friends saved me from losing my way.
And showed me that people Overflow with kindness.
Even as we wrinkle with age,
our friendship will last forever.
Through all our struggles and hardships,
We will stick by each other an Overflow...
Doctor, Doctor

A man named John entered the hospital,
His face, anxious and worn.
He talked to the nurse,
To complain of his curse,
To tell of his tale of forlorn.
"Please take a seat sir," she requested,
"So then I'll give you some forms."
John studied the room,
Certain of doom,
Be it by cancer, pneumonia, or tape worms.
The forms were written, the pen out of ink.
John's patience and confidence faltered.
Then the nurse that had been
Yelled "The Doctor is in!"
Having come from his trip to Gibraltar.
"Take a seat, son," the Doctor insisted,
His heavy breath misty with gin.
John panted and wheezed,
About his big squeeze,
And asked for the tests to begin.
The doctor inquired of all of John's troubles,
But John said there was only one.
"A pain in my chest,
Has left me possessed,
With a fever that's second to non."
CAT scans, X-Rays, hot needles of blood,
Had all been administered quickly.
But nothing was found,
And the old doctor frowned,
That no one should be feeling so sickly.
The doctor lamented his wrong diagnosis,
Which still gathered to be inconclusive.
John Demanded a cure,
For he couldn't endure
The agony that still remained exclusive.
The doctor dismissed him, with nothing to say,
And John could only concede.
He took out a step,
And slowly he crept,
To the hospital doors where he would be free.
The winter air hit his bones like a train,
And he realized he couldn't go on.
Just then at a glance
By some lucky chance,
A woman had lost her chiffon.
John talked to the girl and offered his help.
He saw that her face was sincere.
Just then it was Spring,
He forgot his old fling,
To see his pain gone, and mind clear.
His face, anxious and worn.

Secrets of the Lunar Sun
Arvin Javadi
The White doves flew through the thin air
underneath the sun's Bright Yellow glare
their wings beating as one
breaking the fostering air like a drum.
Flying through the Light,
deep, deep, deep into the night
The flock lands to take a rest
each finds its own Secluded nest
Long past the height of midnight
comes a jackal with piercing Sight
preying upon a younger dove
its prey cries and cries for someone's love
yet no one comes save Oblivion
out of the ether of Hadean.*
After the act is done,
The doves ascend towards the lunar sun.
their White feathers are Black agaisnt the moon's glare,
their wings do not beat as one in the thin, revealing air.
*Hadean-era of time when there was nothing and then earth was created
